Summary/Abstract: There are presented the stipulations of The Moldavian Republic Legislation and the provided penalties regarding water pollution. The ecological offences, the author underlines, represent the ways by which it is ensured man’s fundamental right to a healthy environment and the population’s ecological security, the natural environment protection and the rational use of its resources.
