Summary/Abstract: In this article will be discussed in the context of the presumption of innocence assassination of Osama bin Laden. What I propose is to show that the attack carried out by some media opinion-makers have been given, in fact, on this defining principle par excellence of the concept of rule of law. Minimizing the liberal democratic principle of rule of law no one appears to be justified, this not mean that the attitude of the media is one unobjectionable, even if we remain prisoners of an apologetic register, revengeful murder on terrorism world leader in space Islamic extremist. So, I intend to present some excerpts from the media – position of the legitimating principle of guilt – highlighting the key elements behind them. At the same time I will illustrate and perspectives of theorists discussed phenomenon, coming to reject some of the considerations of the substance apologetic approach of the media on the chosen theme.
