Summary/Abstract: The evolution of rationalism, freedom or democracy is marked by contradictions and by antithesis of ideals to which human in this process heads. The article deals with a content contradictions of components which are immanent parts of the political system of the liberal democracy. We figure to discuss differences between a romantic innocence of the term and the reality of a power balance. As a result of this reality, there are some unequalities between economic and social relations, a dualism between a utopian perfectionism of the creators and a political pragmatism of the power elites which are concentrated in supranational bureaucratic and financial centers - an antagonism of the real democratic conditions and standard preconditions formulated in a theory.
