The Cult of Seven Holy Saints in the Bulgarian Middle Ages

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the report is the question of the Medieval cult of Seven Holy Saints (Cyril, Methodius, Clement, Nahum, Gorazd, Angelarius, Lavrentius and Savva) as group. Of special interest is the question when the common cult of the seven saints originates. On the base of some not used or some little used sources it is concluded that their common cult appeares in XVI-th century.
