Summary/Abstract: The article lists in chronological order scholarly achievements of Professor I. Bajerowa, who belongs to the circle of the most remarkable Polish linguists. Her works refer both to contemporary and historical Polish. Studies of diachronic linguistics are particularly emphasized, which realize in research practice an original concept of structural interpretation of the history of language, created by Professor I. Bajerowa.
