The Portion of Explicit Expressive Means of the Category of Determination in Chosen Styles of the Slovak, Russian and English Languages

Summary/Abstract: The category of determination represents one of the most complex noun categories in world languages. The paper deals with the grammatical category of determination with the focus on explicit expressive means of the category in the Slovak, Russian and English languages. Moreover, in order to highlight the differences between typologically distinct languages, the portion and frequencies of these lexical units in individual styles of the languages are analysed.
