Multifunctional, sustainable and innovative development in rural communes. The implementation of ideal type or apparent action (Radomszczański poviat)

Summary/Abstract: The author bringing up the research problem refers to the concept of ideal type by M. Weber and apparent action by J. Lutyński. She tries to answer the question whether socio-economic development defined in strategic documents and statements of representatives of local authorities from rural communes of the Radomszczański poviat bears marks of the ideal type of multifunctional, sustainable and innovative development. The assumption is, that the strategic goals and actions envisaged for implementation in strategic documents of rural communities only apparently are geared towards the implementation of the principles of this development. The components of the ideal type of European rural areas are the examples of values that are accepted but not implemented. The study results confirm this assumption.
