Summary/Abstract: Most recent research on occpational health and safety has shown that the workplace is one of the most salient stressogenic factors determining the employees’ psychological as well as physical well-being. Workplace environment correlates directly with the changing parameters of professional life. It has been proved that a number of complementary factors such as the information and communication technologies, the type of work organization, alterations in the working practice, staff reduction, decrease in demand and the ubuquitous globalization rank among one of the most potent job-related stressors.
