Summary/Abstract: The modification of virus in the theoretical machine of disembodiment is an investigative paper inclined to transgress the rigid boundaries of humanity and the logics of identity enveloping the human-machine dichotomy in order to embrace affirmative currents in the production of subjectivity and difference; the currents that consist of the processual dynamics of human and non-human bodies in “coagulation” or assemblage with each other. In this respect, the paper explores the conceptual plan of Deleuze and Guattari giving a special emphasis to the concept of assemblage, and maps it within the kaleidoscopic in-between space of reality and imagination/science fiction in which dwells Enki Bilal’s posthuman woman character Jill Bioskop. In its intimate touch with the philosophy of future, the text tries to illustrate how Bilal’s experimental dramaturgy contributes to affirmative rethinking and re-imagining of the future beyond the burden of the past.
