The first part of the article is focused on the concept of non-governmental organizations and their exclusivity comparing to private and public sectors. In the second part, analysis of the main aspects of non-governmental organizations performance estimation is presented, which leads to the identification of the main indicators of effectiveness called external connections and mutual cooperation.
