Particular versus Peripheral. Informal Financial/Economic Strategies of the Students in Kolozsvár.

Summary/Abstract: When examining the informal financial/economic strategies in Romania and more precisely in Kolozsvár, besides the description of observable activities we have to add another method of analysis: an approach that tries to map out strategies of particular groups and not vice versa – describing those active in the informal sphere along their specific activities. In our case the particular group to be described is the large student body in Kolozsvár, which besides generating economic sectors by its existence, has also developed specific financial strategies.
