Summary/Abstract: We are witnessing today a cutting battle between cinematography and television. Since its apparition in 1950 television has been continuously growing, especially in industrialized countries where movie theatres have a higher frequency. We have to admit that television is cheaper and more accessible than movie theatres and it has the power, including the finances, of getting inside people’s homes. The consequence was logical; most of the audience who used to go to the cinema did not feel it as a necessity anymore and stayed at home in front of the TV. Even so, the cinema public has not diminished, they remained true to their option and not only the actual movie production is based on this fact but even its future evolution.
