Summary/Abstract: In the second half of the 20th century, many foreign researchers, such as Edward1 T. Hall, Henry Cloud and John Townsend, Daniel Solove, William Parent and others, turned to the study of “privacy” concept and the determination of the boundaries of personal space necessary for a person for comfortable communication in various communicative situations. Despite a large number of papers dedicated to “privacy”, and studies conducted by foreign scientists, at the moment there is no single definition of the notion “privacy”, which is understood today by many scientists quite broadly and affects all spheres of human life.
