Summary/Abstract: The changes that took place in the consciousness of the Hungarian literature in Transylvania after the collapse of the totalitarian regime, can above all be diagnosed, in the appearance of those stylistic-poetic characteristics, in which the traditional discourse on Transylvanism, the social role of literature, and the responsibility of the writer no longer asserted itself, as an autocratic mode of speech. The openness of the new poetic tendencies at the end of the century, made it also possible for the contemporary poet, to represent the 21st Century mediated reality, and to enhance a critical-hermeneutical dialogue with the textual tradition. In my study, I propose to present those stylistic-poetic initiatives, which operate the popular-intermedial registers of the contemporary Hungarian language Transylvanian poetry; and in which, not only a reconsideration of classical poetic relations to the works of the predecessors are developed, but a radical reevaluation of the function of poetry and the entire culture.
