Assessment of the usefulness of Stock Exchange recommendations based on the DCF method on the example of construction companies

Summary/Abstract: Stocks of the quoted companies undergo continuous fluctuations, which make it difficult to assess the accuracy of the issued Stock Exchange recommendation. This paper presents a technique, which, to an extent, enables a retrospective verification of recommendation accuracy. The described technique is here applied to assess the usefulness of recommendations issued by brokerage houses for companies operating in the construction industry.
