Summary/Abstract: The works of the architect Josip Vancaš are one of the unavoidable foundation stones of the anthology of the architectural achievements of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The text is a contribution to the future efforts towards the production of monograph on a leading figure of the architecture of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which would be a means of paying respect not only to Josip Vancaš and his work, but also to our past, and more importantly, to the future.
