Summary/Abstract: The main issue of the article is the following: whether bilingualism is the cause of various problems in the development of personality and social skills of children. This article is the result of studies in field of communicative skills of bilingual children who begin to attend kindergarten. What we are interested in are such problems as: how quickly these skills are formed in comparison with monolingual children, what the impact of bilingualism on early socio-cognitive and socioemotional development of a child is.
