Searching of the Shape of New Evangelization

Summary/Abstract: Changes of civilization that took place in Europe in recent decades have led to a crisis of ecclesial life expressed in the formula: a society without the Church, the Church without the faithful, the faithful without faith. Such a situation forces the Church to seek new areas of transmitting the faith and evangelization, because the former points of support embedded in the traditional, folk Church are decomposed. Todays believers have lost a basic sensitivity to the matters of faith. Therefore, transmission of the faith must be achieved now mainly at the level of the kerygma and mistatogy and have a community character. This requires a change of the Church pastoral ministry’s optics and a new opening not only for those already converted, but also for those who are still in need of conversion.
