Trade Secret. Protection under Polish Act on Combating Unfair Competition

Summary/Abstract: The article describes the institution of trade secret, the matter of breaching a trade secret as an act of unfair competition, as well as the place that trade secret has in the system of law. The article is divided into parts, which concern, as follows: the concept of trade secret, the particular scope of protection granted to trade secrets by Polish Act on Combating Unfair Competition and, finally, possible claims contained in the Act which can be raised if a breach of trade secret occurs.
