Summary/Abstract: The polyvalense of Heidegger’s importance for the contemporary philosophy lies in his demands for the new questioning the terms of tradition which originates from history of metaphysics. In the sense that metaphysics is destiny of the West and philosophy is its guideline above all, the question what philosophy is is articulated, in the discourse of reception, as the question of the basic and final achievements of the West-European culture. Having in mind the antropocentric view of the modern-history philosophy, in other words, the centric sense of western metaphysics, the discourse of the critics of metaphysics in its final instances is presented as the critics of europecentrism. In this way Heidegger’s intentions appear as the starting point of the whole questioning of the heritage of the civilization that is happening from the world view of life.
