Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on rhythm of the poems of J. H. Krchovský Deviations from dactylic pattern, which underlies the verses, are seen as being the fragments of alexandrin and are interpreted not only in the light of traditional scansion but also as the intertextual references to the Czech poetry of 1890s.
