Summary/Abstract: For many years Poland has been successfully competing with other countries on foreign direct investments that contribute to high economic development. Lower Silesia is the second region in Poland in terms of investment attractiveness. Many investors have recognized this potential so far, including investors from Asian countries. The most productive factories of companies from South Korea or Japan are located in Lower Silesia. They are technologically advanced units, which are the best “ambassadors “of the region in the eyes of potential foreign investors. This article presents the scale of Asian investment in Lower Silesia and the importance of its development in the region.
