Klastry jako stymulatory międzynarodowych przepływów gospodarczych
Clusters as stimulants of international economic flows

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to demonstrate the role of clusters in the realization and fostering of international economic flows, on the basis of the activities of particular clusters and cluster initiatives. The starting point for the study is the analysis of international economic flows in Polish clusters, which was performed on the basis of benchmarking completed in 2010 by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. The study is complemented with the example of the international activity of a food industry megacluster, functioning in the Baltic Rim countries and formed within the project named Baltfood. The example provided may inspire the improvement of the Polish clusters` process of internationalization, and, what follows, the stimulation of international economic flows within clusters and their surrounding market.
