Summary/Abstract: The traditional society of the Pomaks is structured on a series of contrasts, which characterize their traditional system of values. The problems they face as much in the boundaries of the Muslim minority of Thrace, as well as in the frames of the wider Greek society of the region have defined their cultural expression.
