Dynamics of the First Names of Slavic Origin in 20th Century in the Czech Republic

Summary/Abstract: In 1990s, an alteration in the parents’ anthroponymical fancies in the course of choosing name for a child begins to show up distinctly. As a consequence of this fact, the group of the most favourite names changes partially. Names Jaroslav, Miroslav, Václav have the potential ability to save their positions. Since the 1980s, a priority in the growth of popularity among the names of Slavonic origin belongs to the name Vojtĕch. The name Radim is actively struggling forward to the group of leaders.
