Publishing an occasional literature- an outline of the editorial issues

Summary/Abstract: Publishing an occasional literature is a special task in the work of a textologist and editor. The notion of an author text and primary text vanishes, and errors are categorized in a different way. The editors of elusive works, prepare, apart from philological explanations, comments bringing the circumstances of the creation of works referring to particular events closer. The article introduces the problem of elusive text senders, co-authorship and variants of transmission. As an example, an Old-Polish occasional literature was cited (Ocknij się Lechu), Mazurek Dąbrowskiego, the hymn Boże coś Polskę, and carols.
