Summary/Abstract: These pages take into account for the present time the work of Irenaeus of Lyon, considered as a first missiologist in the Church, one of the true Christian witness for the salvation in Christ in a horizon of false religiosity. The ground for this witness is the true God Himself revealed in Scripture as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, present in His true Church in the sacraments. Only the faith of the Church as received, believed, experienced and transmited by the Apostles is the true saving doctirne rejected by the gnostics that time and today by the neognostics engaged in living a false religion. That’s why only the Church of the Christ, God and man in the historical person of Jesus is the true field of actual religious experience.
