Summary/Abstract: Nicolae Corneanu, head of the Othodox church in the region of Banat, makes an interesting analysis of Nicolae Breban's novels, from the point of view of their religious implications and symbolism. He emphasizes the privileged spaces of the church, which seem to appear in most of Breban's works, and underlines the connection existing between certain passages and the censorship imposed on religion before the fall of communism. Corneanu also traces certain patterns and typical characters whose evolution follows Biblical models. On the same page one can also find a short review of Rodica Draghincescu's latest book, as seen by Delia Cursan.
