Summary/Abstract: Yes of course, acknowledgments. Where can I begin? Whenever I’ve tried to articulate my debt to others after finishing a book I have the impression that it would be impossible to bring the task to closure. So, I end up with a few clumsy words opening out to a gaping void, and I’m left with a sense that it wasn’t me who should have his name attached to the pages that followed. Nevertheless, acknowledgments.
