Summary/Abstract: This dialogue is a “women’s” conversation between writer and theoretician Julijana Matanović, and the noted Croatian poet and storyteller, Irena Vrkljan. The manifold two-sidedness of Irena’s life - between Zagreb and Berlin, recent past and elusive present, poetry and prose, biography and fiction, friends that are no longer there and new people instilling hope - creates an interesting and subtle dialogue embroidery.
