Summary/Abstract: The book of Goritz a Naydenova offers a really fascinating interpretation of the fundamental scholarly paradigm of the integral theoretical system of Prof. Stoyan Djoudjeff , as well as of the deep philosophical and humanistic nature of his contributions and enormous merits in his ardent and truly self-sacrificial defence of the authentic rural folklore in the modern times of complicated cultural engeneering and experimenting, especially during the totalitarian regime. Being a central figure in Bulgarian musical folkloristics, both Djoudjeff and his scholarly impact on the discipline musical folkloristics are subject to many theoretical and cultural investigations and interpretations. But the philosophical sources of his cultural Opus magnum are much less obvious and are still unknown to the public at large.
