Summary/Abstract: Martin Heidegger's thougt has evoked great influence on the 20th century philosophy. This article's chief task is to analise Heidegger's thought and transfer its main conclusions into pedagogical area. Heidegger's critique of civilization shows how important are the truth and the thinking for the contemporary human being. Both basic cathegories, forgotten by contemporary pople, cloud give them new quality of life. That is why the main goal of upbringing is not only to educate a young man how to live in oue society, but first of hall how to pick up the task of thinking. This is important becaus modern man very often indetifies the truth with a scientific settlements and with results of scientific research. Such a meaning of the truth is inadequate for Heidegger. The article undertakes the analysis of the pedagogics considered as science. And the main conclusion is that the pedagogics-science has its sense if it has posibilites to overcome the scientific research leads pedagogics to human's reification. Meanwhile; pedagogics has two tasks of equal value. The first is picking up the thinking aout upbringing, which consist of two very important elements: dialogue with tradition and ties between pedagogics and philosophy. Second task of pedagogics is practical one: educational activities, which from the attitude of thinking in young men. The most important thing in this area is the authority of the person who brings up and his/her example to life.
