Conditioning of absorption of the European Union funds on the example of communes of the Lubelskie Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to show crucial factors of the absorption of European funds which local governments tried to get. The analyses included in the study concern 80 rural communes of the Lubelskie Voivodeship which answered in the questionnaire survey. The article mainly tries to show the conditioning of absorption of accessible founds in the programming period 2007-2013. Therefore applications submitted up to 31 December 2010 were being analysed. The program, in which communes had most often filed applications, was discussed in this study, i.e. the Regional Operational Programme of the Lubelskie Voivodeship.
