Summary/Abstract: The author deals with the issues of names of international organisations and institutions from aspects of their developing tendencies and equivalences in a bilingual dictionary (Slovak-Russian). The author points at particularities of Slovak and Russian conventions in forming names of these institutions and stresses the requirement of the complex content and stylistic equivalence.
