Summary/Abstract: A prose description of a childhood spent in rural areas of eastern Thuringia, which were colloquially referred to as ‘fatigued’, due to their specific ambience triggered by uranium deposits located close thereto. Absence, lassitude and heaviness have impressed their stigma upon the author’s childhood years – the states in which perception was active in the childhood; ones which later on were to exert their impacts like kindred media owing to which, as it seems to us, we can perceive the world in a most direct manner. And therefore, one might say, literary texts, poetological axioms are conceived out of them, ever since the first steps are made.
