Summary/Abstract: The spatial organization of urban territory assures the determination of a future vision of a town in a regional aspect. Activities regarding spatial orientation can be performed on different administrative and managerial levels. In this area trans-border, trans-national and European cooperation can be realized. The trends in spatial planning are directed towards achieving a balanced environment; solutions to similar problems in the condition and development of different regions and countries; supporting regions which are unequivalent in situation and creating opportunities for integrated development.
