Summary/Abstract: The author in this article deals with enquiry into the municipal inhabitants' satisfaction with the activities which the mayors and municipal deputies of the Slovak municipalities (the municipal politicians) materialize within the frame of a policy implementation. Contents of the article are divided into two basic parts. The first one contains discussion on the basic theoretic starting points in regard to a political process abreast ojthe municipalities. The second one contains the description, analysis, and interpretation of research results. The author shows and argues there exist the concrete differences between the municipal inhabitants' perception in regard to the mayors and municipal deputies. Moreover, it is possible to find some differences within the municipal inhabitants' perception in regard to the various activities of these municipal politicians. As the most important factors influencing the municipal inhabitants' satisfaction with the municipal politicians' activities have been identified especially the size of municipalities and municipal inhabitants' occupation. Surprisingly, neither the municipal inhabitants' age nor educational attainment even nor political leanings influence the municipal inhabitants' satisfaction with the municipal politicians' activities.
