Summary/Abstract: Intellectuals in Banat have cultivated themselves under the influence of German-speaking cultural environment for a long time. Few were those who looked to Latinity, though. George C. Bogdan was among them. He studied in France and then tried to become an intermediary by providing information from the two countries with the help of articles and conferences. His contributions represent an important moment in the history of Romanian-French relations.
