EFFICIENCY OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND BUSINESS GROUP FUNCTIONING

Summary/Abstract: The article explores the relationship between efficiency of corporate governance and business group functioning. It defines criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of corporate governance. Then they were compared with the objectives of different types of entities belonging to a business group. Theoretical analysis shows that one should not evaluate the effectiveness of corporate governance in the group’s entities in the same manner as in independent enterprises.
