Summary/Abstract: The article focuses upon literary cyberpunk from the perspective of its relevance in the formation of literary modes no longer relying upon modern age metaphysical principles. The paper argues that cyberpunk absorbs and transforms the features of its mainstream contemporary, literary postmodernism, to the point where they can provide a productive groundwork for the formation of postmodern literary production.
