THE PROFESSIONALISM OF THE PROFESSOR AND THE EFFICIENCY OF THE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY

Summary/Abstract: A radical transformation of education in accordance with the requirements of contemporary society cannot be achieved with educators who are prepared for another way of understanding the phenomenon and performing education. Mutations borne by the Romanian society have a strong influence on education, and are compatible with our European and global forces in this field. Under ideal circumstances, a new educational reform in Romania would cover the educational system and the educational process, especially the mentality of those involved in educational activities. Amplification efficiency of social learning is inseparable from the production of mutations on the quality of business educators, the roles and functions of teachers' knowledge is also a significant enrichment. The educational activity mobilizes the personality of teachers; it appears to be one of the factors that may contribute to an improved efficiency of education.
