Summary/Abstract: Event Model without Time Shift. Event models previously suggested have in common time shift as their essential element. But there are events expressed as a single state without time shift, at least in Japanese. This paper suggests a new type of event model (“interaction-based model”) through a close investigation of Japanese event expressions.
