Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the phenomenon called ‘inner totalitarianism’ which presents the tendency of the contemporary social-economic system that enslaves the life-world and ultimately the individual subjectivity. While in certain aspects inverted, in others the totalitarian system remained completely untouched, namely, an adopted form of classical totalitarianism. A generalized liberal-democratic ideology of the system is being examined from the perspective of its self-declared values. Finally, the author tries to draw a basic draft of the inner totalitarianism’s ideology and its main function, which are considered as the true basis of the social world’s realm.
