Jean-Baptiste Say’s actions for institutionalisation of economics

Summary/Abstract: Jean-Baptiste Say is very often recalled because of the market law discussion. His actions for spreading economics are mostly unknown. The article is a consistent presentation of the achievements of this French economist within the scope of economics propagation and institutionalisation of economics in France. Presented problems do not discuss the most important modern problems but indicate the significance of economics knowledge among different social groups, which was proved at the beginning of XIX century by Jean Baptist Say.
