Cost efficiency of active labour market programmes in Silesian Voivodeship in 2005-2010

Summary/Abstract: Socio-economic consequences of imbalance on the labour market lead to some activities and programmes aiming at assurance of the optimum employment level. They also imply the necessity of defining aims, the ways of realization and the evaluation of these activities as well as regarding aspects of efficiency at the same time. Taking into account the above mentioned situation the article presents the chosen issues relating to the efficiency of the active programmes of labour market in Silesian Voivodeship. The research concentrated on cost efficiency only because of the limited work space.
