Summary/Abstract: Planned creation of water inundation in the area of the village of Wolka Domaniowska prompted to excavate several archaeological sites. As it proved, part of them, representing the Przeworsk culture, form a big settlement complex consisting of a necropolis, a settlement and probably places of cremation (fig. 1). One of its elements is site 9, which is a subject of the present analysis. It is a part of earlier recognized settlement at site 6 (both places are artifi cially separated by D. Barwicki`s farm). The most important discovery at site 9 was a pit of big sizes (6.5 x 5 m), which was remains of dug into the ground hut (fig. 2). It yielded rich material in form of pottery fragments (including two wheel-made ones – fi g. 3. 6,7), an iron nail and turned up-footed fi bula of type A.158 (fig. 3. 14). An analogous fibula was discovered on secondary deposit nearby the mentioned object. The discovered artifacts give an opportunity to define the chronology of the site, which, according to the author, concerns the late Roman period, especially including phase C 1b.
