Mythological Personages in Slavic Set Idioms of Simile

Summary/Abstract: Slavonic fixed phraseological comparisons with mythological personages in connection with their dwelling place have been considered in the article. Genetic unity of Slavonic mythology is conditioned by the presence of common notions and phraseological subjects. Cultural and national character of fixed comparisons at the level of structural semantic models and the image of comparison are connected with the further development of mythological and cultural traditions of the Slavonic peoples.
