Summary/Abstract: For this presentation, we decided to deal with the theme of European and local identity. This case focused on European dimension throught its construction and the utillisation by European leaders of the identity. We are going to analyse on one side, identity linked with European construction. And one the other side, we are going to see the local level as a pertinent level about the analysis of European policies. To conclude, we can say that european and local identity are not in opposition but in complementarity and give us some understanding keys for the future of the european construction and especially for our comtemporary societies.
