Summary/Abstract: Presentation of a book dedicated to scientific and popular-scientific journals published in the Lublin area. Archival and library research as well as interviews with people involved in journal development resulted in interesting and diverse material. This allowed to reconstruct the history of the Lublin area periodicals.
