The debate on open learning and new models of scientific journal publishing (Toruń, 30th October 2012)

Summary/Abstract: On 30th October 2012, in the University Library in Torun a debate on the transformation of traditional journals to the electronic form was held. The meeting was organized on the occasion of the International Open Access Week (22–28 October 2012). Its goal was to remind the importance of the free access to science, education and culture, especially in the developing world. The report summarizes the meeting and briefly outlines papers presented at the conference.
